Refund Policy

Shubh Yatra Holidays Pvt. Ltd., we strive to provide the best travel services to our guests. We understand that travel plans may change due to personal reasons, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances. This Refund Policy explains the terms and conditions governing refunds for bookings made with us.

• Refunds are processed only after receiving a written cancellation request by email or WhatsApp from the registered customer.
• The refund amount, if applicable, will be calculated after deducting cancellation charges, bank charges, payment gateway charges, and any non-refundable charges levied by hotels, transport providers, helicopter operators, or other service providers.
• Refunds are normally processed within 7 to 15 working days from the date of cancellation approval. However, in some cases, the processing time may depend on the policies of third-party service providers.

Cancellation charges for tour packages shall be as follows:

• More than 30 days before departure: 10% of the total package cost.
• 15 to 30 days before departure: 25% of the total package cost.
• 7 to 14 days before departure: 50% of the total package cost.
• Less than 7 days before departure or no-show: 100% of the total package cost.

Certain hotels, camps, and special packages may have separate cancellation policies, which will be communicated at the time of booking.

• Refunds for hotel bookings are subject to the cancellation policy of the respective hotel.
• Peak season bookings, festival dates, Char Dham season bookings, and special promotional offers may be non-refundable.
• Any refund received from the hotel will be passed on to the customer after deducting applicable service charges.

• Cancellation charges for taxi bookings depend on the time of cancellation and season.
• If the vehicle has already been dispatched or the driver has reached the pickup point, applicable charges may be deducted.
• No refund shall be provided for unused services or early termination of the trip by the customer.

Helicopter bookings for Kedarnath or other destinations are governed primarily by the policies of the respective helicopter operators and government authorities.

• In case of cancellation by the customer, refunds will be processed as per the helicopter operator's cancellation policy.
• In case of cancellation due to bad weather, technical reasons, government restrictions, or force majeure events, refunds will be subject to the refund policy of the helicopter operator.
• Shubh Yatra Holidays Pvt. Ltd. acts only as a booking facilitator and cannot guarantee refunds beyond the amount refunded by the helicopter operator.

Char Dham Yatra and Himalayan tours are subject to weather conditions and natural factors.

No refund shall be provided for:

• Road blockages.
• Landslides.
• Floods.
• Heavy rainfall or snowfall.
• Temple closures due to government or local authority orders.
• Delays or cancellations caused by adverse weather conditions.
• Any force majeure event beyond our control.

However, we will make every reasonable effort to assist guests in rescheduling or making alternative arrangements wherever possible.

• No refund will be provided if the guest does not report for the tour, hotel stay, transport service, or helicopter service on the scheduled date and time.
• No refund will be granted for unused meals, sightseeing, accommodation, transport, or any other services included in the package.

• Refunds shall be processed through the original mode of payment wherever possible.
• In cases where the original payment method is unavailable, refunds may be transferred to the customer's bank account after verification.
• The customer may be required to provide supporting documents for identity and bank verification.

Any convenience fee, payment gateway fee, bank charges, taxes, or processing charges paid at the time of booking are non-refundable unless specifically stated otherwise.
